Basil Essential Oil Recipes
Here are some great recipes you can try at home using Basil. From aromatherapy blends to pick-me-up solutions, you can incorporate Basil essential oil to your daily living.
- 2 cups of filtered water
- 1 cup of organic distilled white vinegar
- 20+ drops of lemon essential oil
- 15+ drops of basil essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass spray bottle and use as needed for household cleaning. Works well on windows and stainless steel, as well as flat surfaces like tile and counters.
Customize essential oils to your preference by adding more, less or even omitting completely. The vinegar smell will disappear once the spray dries and only a faint scent of lemon and basil will remain.
Add these essential oils to a diffuser whenever you need a boost:
- Basil: 8 drops
- Orange: 9 drops
- Peppermint: 4 drops
- Rosemary: 4 drops
Add the following essential oils to help you focus on your study time:

Instructions: In a bottle or dish, add the basil essential oil first, and then pour in the required amount of carrier oil. Mix well before use.

- 5 drops Bergamot essential oil
- 25 ml sweet almond oil
Instructions: Pour 25 ml of sweet almond oil in a glass bottle. Add the above essential oils to the almond oil. Apply to your torso and extremities after an intense workout, or whenever you need an energy boost.
